The variety was obtained by breeders F. Minařík, J. Bouma and K. Domkář by crossing the parent lines Nadja and Km 1192. The line Km 1192 was developed at the VŠÚO breeding station in Kroměříž.
The plant has moderate resistance to powdery mildew, which is due to the influence of the parent line Km 1192. Detailed data on plant height, maturity dates and grain quality are absent in available publications.
