The variety belongs to the early-maturing group. It is characterized by good stem resistance to lodging.

It possesses dual viral tolerance to barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) and wheat dwarf virus (WDV), which contributes to a reduction in the need for fungicidal protection. The variety carries the Ryd2 resistance genotype to barley yellow dwarf virus.
