The variety is a two-row winter barley obtained by crossing the Harlequin and KWS Glacier varieties. The plant has short straw, which provides lodging resistance when using growth regulators.
The variety belongs to the early-maturing group. It is characterized by high grain bulk density in the range of 69.1–71.9 kg/hl and good adaptability to various soil types. It possesses resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV) and has a favorable overall disease resistance profile.
