The variety «Linga» is a spring covered barley that has the genetic combination «Gunilla» in its pedigree. It is intended primarily for feed purposes.
The grain of this variety is characterized by a genetically determined high crude protein content, reaching 14.5%. The indicators for volume, starch, and fats remain relatively stable across different years of cultivation. In the initial periods of testing, sensitivity to Ustilago nuda was noted.
