The plant possesses complete resistance to powdery mildew due to the presence of the mlo gene and high resistance to net blotch. The variety is characterized by large grain with high starch content, and an average protein level and grain plumpness.
The barley is intended for feed purposes, starch production, and is considered promising for the malting industry. It is best suited for mineral and clay soils and tolerates drought well due to intensive tillering. It is not recommended for cultivation on acidic soils.
