The variety belongs to the type of winter two-row barley intended for feed use. The plant has an intermediate growth habit with a semi-prostrate or prostrate growth character. The stem is characterized by variable length, the ears have awns, and the sheaths of the lower leaves have pubescence.
The variety shows resistance to a number of viral diseases, in particular to barley yellow dwarf virus. The grain is large in size, and the variety shows low sorting loss rates. In breeding documentation, the variety may be designated by the code SC 16666 OH.
