ActiveHordeum vulgare L. · Barley
ULRICH and JOSEF BREUN
10 August 2026
The variety is a six-row winter barley of the early maturity group. Plants possess rapid initial development, which contributes to effective weed suppression, and show high adaptation to local climatic conditions.
The variety demonstrates excellent stem strength and lodging resistance even with intensive fertilizer application. It is resistant to powdery mildew and net blotch, and possesses moderate tolerance to leaf rust.
The primary intended use of the variety is for fodder. The grain is characterized by high test weight and quality filling; in certain cases, its potential for use in brewing is considered.
