The variety is mid-maturing, the vegetation period from emergence to heading lasts 58–60 days. Plants have an average height of 85 to 90 cm.

The barley is characterized by high drought tolerance and resistance to shattering. Resistance to lodging is 6–7 points. The variety is used in breeding as a genetic source for improving grain weight.
