The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work crossing parental forms Cropton and LN0925; it is also known under the breeding number LGBN1315. It belongs to the group of two-row malting varieties with optimal grain modification indices and extractivity of more than 83%.
The barley possesses resistance to powdery mildew, due to the presence of the mlo gene. The variety is characterized as mid-season and demonstrates high indicators of amylolytic, proteolytic, and cytolytic modification, which are in demand in the malting industry.
