The NS Pinon variety was bred by breeders in Serbia and included in registers in 2010. Its genealogy includes components such as Novosadski 525, Tiffany, Angora, Vanessa, Metal and Korsö. The variety is intended for cultivation in the conditions of the Pannonian Basin.
Physiological studies of the variety focus on the processes of nitrogen translocation and biomass accumulation. The variety is considered a high-yielding genotype, demonstrating a positive response to early sowing dates within breeding programs.
