The variety belongs to the short-straw type with moderate resistance to lodging and stem breakage. In terms of morphology, it is characterized as moderately early in maturity.

The plant has good resistance to powdery mildew, scald (Rhynchosporium secalis), and net blotch, as well as very good resistance to brown rust. An important feature is its tolerance to barley yellow dwarf virus, which allows for early sowing dates.

The grain of the variety is large in size. The crop is primarily used for feed, as well as for industrial purposes and in the energy sector.
