The variety belongs to the spring barley group. Its quality indicators, including free amino acid content, make it suitable for use in brewing, in particular, for the production of beer with the protected geographical indication 'Czech Beer'.
Breeding work on the variety was aimed at improving the grain profile, which meets the requirements of maltsters. In agronomic studies, the variety is considered in the context of assessing resistance to fungal diseases, including Fusarium head blight.
