The variety is a two-row spring barley that was previously tested for malting and distilling requirements. Morphologically, it is characterized by a medium-density ear of tapering shape with long awns and a medium length of the first segment of the ear rachis with moderate curvature.
In agronomic studies, the variety shows high susceptibility to Ramularialeaf spot and Rhynchosporium secalis. It is a subject of research in resistance genetics due to the presence of the Rrs2 gene, localized on chromosome 7Hs. The level of infection with Fusarium head blight is rated as medium.
