The variety belongs to feed barley types. It is characterized by lodging resistance and the formation of a good number of productive stems per unit area.
The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew and is also mentioned in studies of resistance to Rhynchosporium. Currently, the variety is considered obsolete and is used in genetic research and crop diversity analysis work.
