The variety is mid-season, the vegetation period lasts from 73 to 87 days. Culm height is 73–88 cm. The variety was obtained by intraspecific hybridization followed by selection from the combination of "Zernogradskiy 819" and "Stepnoy dar".
The grain has a thousand kernel weight of 38–50 g and a protein content of 10.9% to 15.1%. The plant possesses field resistance to major diseases, with moderate susceptibility to loose smut and helminthosporiosis noted.
