The SOL30 breeding line was developed by the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the University of Perugia within the framework of projects on the study of genetics and crop adaptation for the conditions of the Umbria region.
During trials, this line demonstrated yields comparable to the performance of commercial varieties. The line is positioned as a promising material for beer production under organic farming conditions.
