The variety was obtained by crossing the Barabas and Keops varieties. It belongs to the spring malting barley form.
Malt quality indicators include high extract content in dry matter and strong proteolytic modification. The levels of amylolytic modification, cell wall degradation, and beta-glucan content are at an optimal level, and the degree of final wort attenuation is 83.6%.
The variety may be susceptible to brown rust, which requires monitoring when planning fungicide treatments.
