The spring barley variety SU Zaza belongs to the malting direction of use. In scientific publications, the variety was considered in the context of studying raw material quality, including the assessment of extractivity and biochemical parameters, such as enzymatic activity and beta-glucan content.
The plant belongs to the nutans variety. According to the results of field trials, the average plant height is about 70.7 cm. The variety is mentioned in studies of genetic diversity of barley collections and analysis of the chemical profile of fatty acids.
