The variety is intended for grain cultivation, but possesses high leafiness, which allows using the crops for green mass, silage, or haylage production as part of forage mixtures. In the agrotechnical conditions of the Precarpathian zone, optimal sowing dates fall between September 15 and September 25.
The variety demonstrates resistance to leaf rust. In studies, the intensity of infection with spot blotch at the milk ripeness stage varies from 1.5% to 17.5%. The variety is frequently used as a standard specimen for conducting comparative variety trials in the western regions of Ukraine.
