The plant reaches a height of 25–30 cm. A dense cylindrical inflorescence 10–20 cm long can contain up to 40 bell-shaped flowers with a diameter of 3–4 cm, possessing a pronounced sweet aroma. The color of the flowers is soft pink, sometimes with a pearlescent, salmon, or violet undertone.

The basal rosette consists of 4–6 bright green linear leaves. Flowering occurs in April–May and lasts 2–3 weeks. The peduncles are strong and sturdy, capable of keeping the inflorescences in an upright position. The plant prefers sunny areas or light partial shade and well-drained fertile soils.
