The plant reaches a height of 20–40 cm, the flower stalk height is 10–15 cm. The inflorescence is dense, cylindrical or spherical-cylindrical in shape. Large bell-shaped flowers with a diameter of 3.5–4 cm are colored in deep red or purple-red, sometimes with a lighter border on the petals, and have a pronounced fragrance.

The leaves are basal, dark green, smooth, sword-shaped or lanceolate. The variety is early-flowering, the flowering period occurs in March–April. The plant is frost-resistant, capable of overwintering in open field and is characterized by increased resistance to diseases.
