Variety description

The variety is a large-flowered hyacinth 20–30 cm in height. The flowers are simple, with a saturated purple-lilac color with a ruby sheen and a pronounced burgundy or beetroot shade. The lush inflorescence reaches a height of 8 to 20 cm.

The plant is early-flowering; the flowering period occurs in March–April and lasts 2–3 weeks. The variety has winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zone 5 and is resistant to diseases.

Cultivation requires sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, drained soil. Bulbs are planted in autumn, between September and November. After flowering and the withering of foliage, annual lifting of bulbs is recommended.
