The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing Begonia boliviensis and Begonia pendula species. The plant has a spreading, drooping, and mound-like bush habit with active basal branching.
The flowers are single, male and female type, colored in bright red. The variety is characterized by abundant continuous flowering throughout the summer season.
