Variety HER2010B02 is a hybrid of Buxus sempervirens and Buxus sinica var. insularis. The plant features a compact form and a classic appearance, reaching a height of 90–120 cm and a width of 60–90 cm. The leaves have a medium to dark green shade and a glossy surface.
The plant is resistant to the fungal disease Calonectria pseudonaviculata and tolerates regular pruning well. Recommended for USDA hardiness zones 5–9. When grown in poor sandy soils without proper fertilization, the foliage may discolor during the autumn-winter period, recovering its color in the spring.
