Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Clematis patens and Clematis viticella. The plant reaches a height of 0.9–1.5 m and is characterized by dense green foliage that remains decorative from March to October. Flowers with a diameter of 10–12 cm have a ruby-red shade and creamy-yellow stamens.
The plant belongs to pruning group 3. Flowering occurs from late spring to July, with a repeat wave in late summer and September. The variety is suitable for sunny locations or light partial shade, frost resistance corresponds to zones 4–9. Pruning is carried out in late winter or early spring to a level of 15–20 cm.
