The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant forming a dense rosette or bush with upright shoots. The height and width of an adult plant are approximately 60–90 cm. The leaves have a strap-like shape and a characteristic color ranging from burgundy to red-bronze.
The plant forms paniculate inflorescences with small fragrant flowers of a lavender hue; the flowering period occurs in summer. The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt and is suitable for cultivation in USDA hardiness zones 9–11. It prefers well-drained soils, regular watering, and can be placed in both sun and partial shade.
