The rootstock is a complex interspecific hybrid derived from Prunus persica, Prunus davidiana, and Prunus dulcis. Plants are characterized by uniform growth in the nursery, which allows for early budding, and have low chilling requirements.
In terms of vigor, the rootstock is classified as semi-vigorous, comparable to the GF 677 or Garnem standards. The variety shows high resistance to root-knot nematodes of the species Meloidogyne incognita and Meloidogyne javanica, as well as the ability to tolerate soils with an active lime content of up to 10–11%.
When used in intensive fruit growing, the rootstock ensures high productivity of the peach and nectarine varieties grafted onto it. Plants propagate well via in vitro methods and adapt to various soil types, provided that good drainage is ensured.
