The tree reaches a height of 3.5–4.5 meters depending on the rootstock. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zone 5. Fruits ripen in mid-summer, have firm skin and juicy sweet flesh with a tart cherry flavor, and are resistant to cracking during rainfall.
The variety is intended for universal use in fresh form and processing. It is self-sterile; for successful pollination, it is necessary to plant Japanese plum varieties with abundant pollen production, such as Toka, Shiro, Beauty, or Santa Rosa, as common cherry varieties are not suitable for this purpose.
