Variety description

10 August 2026

Radar is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing a cultivated tomato with wild species, in particular S. habrochaites. This rootstock is intended for use in long cultivation cycles in plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as on various substrates.

The plant has an indeterminate growth habit and a powerful root system, maintaining stable development even at low light levels. The technological features of the hybrid include high seed germination and ease of grafting.

The rootstock has a wide spectrum of resistance to soil-borne pathogens and environmental stress factors, which contributes to increasing the overall yield stability of grafted varieties.
