Breeding clone 29-03 was obtained during Estonian research work initiated in 1998 based on seeds collected from plants in Canada. Long-term trials of seedlings were conducted in the period from 2000 to 2008, followed by the establishment of comparative tests in 2010.

The clone belongs to the half-high blueberry group. The plant stands out among similar samples due to a larger berry size and a high content of total phenolic compounds, the level of which remains stable regardless of the soil type. Currently, the object is used primarily for research purposes to evaluate suitability for cultivation in a northern climate.
