The breeding material is a hybrid between Vaccinium corymbosum and Vaccinium angustifolium. The clone is listed in official registers of breeding achievements as an object of scientific research.

During comparative trials with other clones, it was noted that the fruits of 8-04 are smaller in size compared to samples 20/02, 8/05, 12/02, and 29/03. Detailed characteristics regarding bush height, ripening dates, and disease resistance are absent from publications.
