Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid containing genetic material from Vitis vinifera and Vitis labrusca. The berries have a round or slightly elliptical shape and vary in color from reddish-black to black. The flesh is firm and crisp, and the skin is easily bitten through without pronounced astringency.
The grape belongs to mid-late maturity groups and is characterized by high yield. The sugar content of the berries can reach 25–30° Brix. The cultivation technique involves short cane pruning, and the disease resistance of the variety is characterized as typical for the species Vitis vinifera.
