Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris and Hydrangea seemannii. The plant is a semi-evergreen climbing vine that attaches to supports using aerial roots. At 10 years of age, the height of the vine can reach 6 meters, and the width 4 meters.

The leaves are dark green, and young spring shoots have a copper-red hue. Flowering occurs in May-June; inflorescences are white, flat, and include both fertile and sterile flowers. The plant prefers shade or partial shade. The variety possesses higher frost resistance than Hydrangea seemannii.
