Variety description

Plants of the Cityline series are dwarf shrubs 30 to 90 cm tall with a natural rounded shape that does not require pruning. The shoots are characterized by their strength, which allows them to hold large mophead-type inflorescences without lodging. The glossy foliage is dark green in color.

Flowering occurs on the previous year's shoots from early summer to autumn. The color of the inflorescences depends on soil acidity and aluminum content: in acidic soils, the flowers become blue, and in alkaline soils, they become pink. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5–9.

Varieties in the series are suitable for container cultivation, border planting, and the creation of landscape groupings. The series includes varieties such as Berlin, Paris, Venice, Vienna, Rio, and Mars.
