The plant is a shrub with a rounded, spreading crown shape, reaching 90–120 cm in height and up to 150 cm in width. Characteristic features are strong red-purple stems and dark green leaves with red petioles and veins, which acquire a burgundy-red hue in autumn.
The inflorescences have a spherical shape (mophead type) and reach 9–13 cm in diameter. Depending on soil acidity, the flowers are colored in violet-blue or pink-purple tones. The variety is remontant, forming buds on both previous year's wood and current year's shoots, which ensures continuous flowering.
The plant is characterized by winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–9) and resistance to powdery mildew. It is used in landscape design for group and single plantings, as well as for container cultivation.
