Variety description

The shrub is characterized by a rounded shape and reaches a height and width of about 1–1.2 meters. The foliage is green, leathery, and broadly ovate with a serrated edge. The variety forms large, dense 'mop head' type inflorescences on sturdy stems resistant to lodging.

Flower color varies from blue in acidic soils to pink in alkaline ones, and the inflorescences may open with creamy-greenish centers. The plant is suitable for open field and container cultivation, however, in regions with harsh winters, it requires protection or keeping in tubs due to the sensitivity of flower buds to frost.
