The variety was obtained as a result of a controlled cross between the maternal line '617' and the paternal line '03-0134-055'. The specimen selection was based on traits such as inflorescence size, flower color, stem strength, and long post-sale plant life.

The plant has a short natural height. Due to the stem strength, the variety is adapted to the requirements of commercial floriculture, including post-production longevity indicators.
