The shrub reaches a height of 90–150 cm and a width of 150–180 cm. It has thin but sturdy stems that require staking in the first years after planting.

Flowering is prolonged; the flowers have a paper-white color and may acquire greenish and reddish shades by autumn. The inflorescences are suitable for cutting and drying.

The variety is hardy, with winter hardiness in USDA zone 6a (down to -21...-23°C). It can be affected by powdery mildew, anthracnose, nematodes, spider mites, and mealybugs.
