The shrub has a compact rounded crown 70–120 cm in height and width. The leaves are green, egg-shaped, with a serrated edge. The mophead-type inflorescences are initially pink or lilac, darken during the flowering process, acquiring cream-colored edges, and by the end of the season become lime-green with a pink border. Color intensity depends on soil pH and the presence of aluminum.

The variety is everblooming, flowering from June to September on the shoots of the previous and current years. The plant is characterized by sturdy shoots that hold the inflorescences upright. USDA hardiness zones are 5–9. The flowers are long-lasting and suitable for cutting and drying.

The plant is used in landscape design for creating hedges, borders, group plantings, and for cultivation in containers.
