Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps 20 to 60 cm in height. The leaves have a glossy texture; when young, they are yellowish-green with a characteristic reddish-brown or burgundy margin.
The flowers are star-shaped, light pink or pinkish-red in hue, and gathered in large inflorescences. The variety is a late-flowering perennial, with a flowering period that falls in late summer and autumn.
The plant is drought-tolerant and prefers sunny locations with well-drained soils. It attracts pollinating insects and is suitable for use in landscape design, container plantings, and for cut flowers.
