The plant forms a compact mound 25 to 45 cm in height. A distinctive feature is the shiny, slightly serrated fleshy leaves of a dark chocolate-brown color with a reddish tint. Small star-shaped flowers of a pink-coral tone are gathered in dense corymbose inflorescences at the tops of the stems.
Flowering occurs from mid-summer to early autumn. The variety prefers open sunny locations, requires good drainage, and is drought-resistant. With excessive nutrition or lack of light, the stems may stretch and lose compactness. The plant is undemanding, but may require protection from slugs and snails.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
