The variety is a deciduous shrub reaching 80–100 cm in height and width. The plant forms yellow flowers, resembling a buttercup in shape.

After the flowering period ends, the shrub produces ornamental berry-shaped fruits with a glossy lime-green shade. The variety is primarily used in ornamental gardening as a berry-bearing shrub.
