The Kolmkis variety (trade name Magical® Kiss) is a compact semi-evergreen or deciduous shrub 80–100 cm in height. The plant is used in landscape design for decorating gardens and terraces and is also valued in floristry for its decorative fruits.

Flowering with small yellow flowers with large stamens occurs from May to July, followed by the formation of decorative berries that remain on the bush until autumn. The variety has good winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -20°C, and exhibits resistance to rust.
