The variety is a low-growing perennial plant with a height of 0.1 to 0.2 meters. It forms dense clumps which are covered with white inflorescences during the spring flowering period.

The plant is used in landscape design for decorating alpine gardens, rock gardens, borders, and for container cultivation. The variety requires good drainage, as it does not tolerate soil waterlogging.
