Variety description

The plant is a compact subshrub 15–30 cm in height, forming cushion-like mats. A distinctive feature of the variety is the decorative golden-yellow coloration of the narrow leaves, which is maintained throughout the year.
The flowering period occurs from April to June. Small white flowers are gathered in dense umbellate inflorescences up to 5 cm in diameter. The variety prefers sunny locations or partial shade and well-drained sandy or loamy soils; it does not tolerate waterlogging.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 3–9, and is resistant to urban conditions. The variety is intended for group plantings, rock gardens, alpine slides, retaining walls, as well as for cultivation in containers.
