The Marpesia variety is characterized by a compact growth type. During trials, sensitivity to low temperatures was noted at early stages of development, which required an increase in the production period.
The plant was intended for cultivation as a pot plant and for flower bed decoration. The compactness of the bush allowed producers to space the plants at a higher density.
