The variety is a hybrid derived from the species Impatiens hawkeri. The plant is characterized by a vigorous growth habit and large flowers of a fluorescent lilac shade.
It is propagated exclusively by cuttings, which ensures the preservation of all varietal characteristics of the mother plant. Like other members of the group, it requires control of soil moisture and light levels, and is sensitive to drying out and waterlogging.
