The variety is a double-flowered balsam with a compact or medium-height habit, making it suitable for growing in containers, hanging baskets, and tubs. It blooms with fuchsia-burgundy or lilac flowers, sometimes with white spots.

The plant is a variegated form with pistachio-colored leaves with a white margin. It is noted that due to the characteristics of the variegated form, the variety has a reduced nitrogen requirement compared to green-leaved representatives of the species. It is a half-hardy annual, sensitive to frost.
