Plants of the variety Danshir (in a number of sources Dansera) belong to the New Guinea impatiens group. Representatives of this series are characterized by a dark green leaf color.

This variety is used in scientific research to study physiological processes, in particular, transpiration intensity and resistance to wilting. In production literature, the variety is mentioned as a commercial cultivar.
