In old botanical literature, Iris Madonna is mentioned as a historical hybrid iris, close to Iris albicans, which is of interest as a botanical object rather than a modern breeding variety.
On the Russian market, there is a bearded iris named «Мадонна» bred by Voroshilova. Also, the literature mentions the variety «Black Madonna» with dark purple flowers, and within private agronomic research, the name «White Madonna» is encountered.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
